Price:
600.00 € + VAT
The BMW FTE Integral ABS module (ABS III / iABS Gen 1) is a high-precision brake booster system that was used on BMW motorcycles from 2000 to 2006, including the R1150RT, R1150GS, R1200GS, R1200RT, and other popular models. Over time and with high mileage, this complex electronic and hydraulic unit may require professional maintenance or replacement.
Typical signs indicating the need for maintenance or repair of the unit include two flashing ABS warning lights, uneven power steering pump operation, fluctuating brake assist, or unusual brake response.
Since the BMW iABS system is directly related to the motorcycle’s safety and braking effectiveness, in the event of any malfunction, we recommend having the module diagnosed, repaired, or inspected preventively in a timely and professional manner.

Description
The BMW FTE Integral ABS module (ABS III / iABS Gen 1 / BMW ABS) is a complex ABS and brake booster module that was used in several BMW motorcycle models from approximately 2000 to 2006. This system is also known as BMW Integral ABS with servo assistance.
Over the years, ABS modules of this type often begin to develop problems in both the electronic and hydraulic/servo components. Therefore, a high-quality repair involves not just clearing a fault code or replacing a single part, but a complete diagnostic, repair, and testing of the entire unit.
Most common symptoms:
- two red ABS warning lights flash on the dashboard;
- an ABS error appears immediately after starting the motorcycle;
- the servo pump operates irregularly, too frequently, or continuously;
- the brakes respond too sharply with even a slight touch of the brake pedal or lever;
- brake boost is lost or operates unevenly;
- The motorcycle switches to emergency or “residual braking” mode;
- Diagnostic errors appear regarding pressure sensors, the pump, the motor, or the ABS control unit;
- the error may appear only after the system has warmed up or after a certain amount of riding time.
If these symptoms occur, it is not recommended to continue riding, as the behavior of the ABS/servo system may become unpredictable. A faulty ABS control unit can affect not only the ABS function but also the operation of the brake booster.
What the repair includes:
- Initial inspection and diagnostics of the ABS module;
- Inspection of the electronic components;
- Inspection of the hydraulic and servo components;
- correction of typical defects;
- replacement of necessary worn-out or damaged components;
- post-repair inspection of the unit;
- preparation for return to the customer;
- an official warranty for the repair.
It is important to understand that a used ABS unit is generally not a safe long-term solution. It may have age-related defects, an unknown history, and in some cases may require additional adjustments or programming. Repair allows you to keep your motorcycle’s original ABS module and restore its functionality.
How the process works:
1. You fill out a repair request form with information about your motorcycle and the ABS issue.
2. We review the information you provided and, if necessary, contact you for clarification.
3. The ABS module is removed from the motorcycle.
4. You ship the ABS module to us, or we’ll help arrange for it to be picked up from your address.
5. The module is sent for specialized repair and testing.
6. After repair, the ABS module is shipped back to you.
7. You reinstall the module on the motorcycle and perform a system check.
If you’re not sure whether your motorcycle has this specific ABS module, fill out the application form and include the motorcycle model, year of manufacture, symptoms, and, if possible, a photo of the ABS module. We will help you identify the correct ABS type.
Repairs are covered by a warranty. The warranty terms apply to the repaired ABS module but do not cover the costs of removal, installation, transportation, or other external work, unless specifically agreed upon separately.

Vaikinai atlieka puikų darbą! Mano ABS bloke perdegė grandinės plokštė. Po poros savaičių ją sutvarkiau! Tais metais viskas veikė :), vėl sumontavau ją ant motociklo ir nieko daugiau daryti nereikėjo, nieko derinti su kompiuteriu. Teigiama patirtis!
